Maira Coelho – Titeretoscope – Performance
Since 1994 Maira Coelho has been developing the ‘Titeretoscope’, a miniature puppet theatre inspired by the first projector of moving images, the Cinematoscope, invented by Thomas Edison. The ‘Titeretoscope’ is a miniature theatre on top of a tripod reminiscent of those early cinema machines and each performance is for one person at a time. Maira has created neumerous mini-productions, which last about a minute, and the Titeretoscope will be performing for adults and children at all throughout the festival at various venues.
